Cable Contradiction

On a recent morning run I noticed a cluster of cabling…like a man-made supercharged birds nest at the top of a telephone pole. It reminded me of vintage black and white shots you see of urban setting prior to cities burying cables at great expense to the towns. It seemed rare that you see this anymore, and less and less with the cable fed and wireless world we live in.

Wichita lineman nightmare.

Then literally…on the same telephone pole I saw this sign. I realize there are completely different intents represented in these two worlds, it just struck me as ironic.

Invisible fence but don’t look up.
